Irish Report
What an exciting night of basketball last night at St. Joe. The Middle School Girls played Fatima at St. Joe beginning at 5:30. St. Joe was on the board first and never looked back. The girls won 33-3 and all 8 team mates scored for the Irish. St. Joe is now 9-4 on the season and will travel to Cross Lanes Christian on Monday.
Scoring for last night was: Isabella 6, Chelsea 5, Becca, 4, Jamila 4, Allisan 4, Desiree 3, Kadin 3, Catherine 2, and Elizabeth 2.
The Middle School Boys played the night cap against Fatima. The Irish picked up a big win defeating Fatima 42-37. Chad and Gabe asserted themselves on the glass and led the scoring drive in the game. Although St. Joe lead most of the game, they could not put away the game until the 4th quarter. Heading into today's (1/20) first round SJI game against Enslow, the Irish have a record of 9-4. The boys would LOVE for all of the students body to come out and support them at the SJI. Games are played at the Veteran's Memorial Fieldhouse. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
