IRISH BASKETBALL REPORT

Last night, Jan. 10th St. Joseph Catholic School was rocking with basketball games featuring three of our teams.  The first game saw the IRISH 4th & 5th Grade Team hosting Ashland Holy Family.  The score of the game went back and forth amongst the two teams.  Unfortunately, the Irish fell to Holy Family 25-21.  St. Joe's scoring was as follows:  Joe F. 8, Dalton V. 2, Zane P. 9, and Connor C. 2.

The Middle School Varsity Girls defeated Ashland Holy Family 40-20.  The girls did an outstanding job and saw 8 players score during the contest.  The girls are currently 7-3 on the season.  Becca L. was the top scorer on the night with 11 followed by Catherine J. 8, Allisan B. 5, Chelsea G. 4, Jamila M. 4, Kadin G. 4, Desiree D. 2 and Elizabeth C. 2.

The Middle School Varsity Boys defeated Holy Family 49-15 with Trace A. leading the scoring drive with 14.  The following athletes also scored:  Gabe G. 10, Isaac B. 9, Chad D. 6, John M. 4, Matthew B. 2, Zach A. 2 and Phoenix H. 2.
