Huntington St. Joseph High School's Girls Basketball Team begins the 2011-2012 season as it ended each of the last three seasons.  As the #1 team in the state.

The Irish Girls were chosen as the top team in the Class A as released in the preseason The Associated Press poll on Monday. 

St. Joe was followed by St. Mary's, Wheeling Central, Charleston Catholic and Williamstown.

The Girls start their home games next Thursday, Dec.8th against Parkersburg Catholic at the High School.  Mark your calendar to attend - the St. Joe Girls Team is the best in the Tri-State Area to watch as they have several college prospects on the current squad..
