FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ST. JOSEPH CENTRAL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL “ENCHANTING” COMMUNITY WITH BLOOD DRIVE
HUNTINGTON- St. Joseph Central Catholic High School will be following their chosen theme for homecoming, “Autumn Enchantment,” by hosting a blood drive.
The blood drive will take place at St. Joseph Central Catholic High School. The high school students are partnering with the American Red Cross on Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m..
Emily Assaley, 17, said, “It’s a good thing for students. It teaches them to give back and to do something for someone else. It’s giving back to someone by giving them life.”
The blood drive, which will take place in the gym, will be decorated with autumn decorations. SJHS would like the community to participate and “enchant” someone’s life. Festive snacks and drinks will be served to all donors.
Assaley said, “We need people in the community to come and give blood. There is such a high need for blood, and ess and less blood is donated every year.”
For more information about the blood drive please contact Cherie Davis at St.josephcatholichighschool@yahoo.com or Pamela Scaggs at (304) 525-0781. ###
