As we continue to celebrate National Prayer Week, it is a time to reflect on other countries and realize that God calls each of us to love one another. Each classroom has been given a country to learn about and pray for throughout the week. The world rosary is divided into six continents. This Friday, March 18th, will be a Dress Down Day for $1. All students dressing down must display their country's assigned color. The money raised will got the Holy Childhood Association, which raises money for world missions of the Catholic Church.
We will also be building each classroom country's landmark in the form of legos on Friday. Students will then have a visual of the world connected with God. If you would like to learn more, please visit www.hcakids.org.
