Want a Way to Volunteer in our Parish and School...

The Office of Safe Environment is currently in the process of scheduling a Virtus Facilitator Training Workshop.  This workshop is designed to certify an individual to be able to facilitate Virtus Workshops throughout the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
All Catholic Schools should have a designated Virtus Facilitator and large Parishes may wish to consider having someone designated.  Although the Virtus component for Safe Environment can be done on-line, it is still preferred to have live sessions.
The Training is two and a half days at one of the Pastoral Centers (all expenses paid by the Diocese, except travel).  I am inquiring of numbers of interested persons to determine date at a Pastoral Center closest to the majority of interested individuals.
I am currently looking to have the Workshop mid-April (non-Holy Week) or beginning May.  Persons interested can be an employee or volunteer at your location.  They must have already successfully completed the three component of Safe Environment, have two references and be willing to do a minimum of four Virtus Workshops a year.
I am not looking for a firm commitment at this time, but to look at good faith numbers.  Please respond to this e-mail by March 11th.
Grace & Peace,
Deacon Doug Breiding
