Sarah Nichols is currently one of our 5th grade teachers and is in her 6th year of teaching at St. Joseph Catholic School. She teaches 5th Grade Math, Science, and Religion. She is in her ninth year as a St. Joe parent. Her son, Joshua Nichols, is in the 7th grade at SJMS. She graduated from Ohio University in 1999 with a B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Science. Before St. Joe, she was a substitute teacher for one year, taught middle school science for three years, and taught 5th grade for one year. She spent many years at home with my son, but am beyond pleased to be back in the classroom! She grew up in Pomeroy, Ohio with my parents, sister, and brother. She was raised in the Catholic Faith and has been involved in the church community her entire life. Sarah is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and serves as the church’s cantor each weekend. Sarah stated, “I look forward to guiding your children in their education this year, and to helping each of them explore their faith and prayer life more fully in a Christ-centered atmosphere”.
